274 pages and over 500 timeless and topical jokes—with a slice of Jewish wry—from boomerist Fred Lavner.  Lavner started collecting jokes at the age of 8, and by now his extensive files fill an entire (not to mention expensive) climate controlled storage locker from floor to ceiling!  As a boy, funny Freddy regaled family and friends with jokes and stories he had heard from his old relatives, plus those told on television shows like Ed Sullivan by the likes of Myron Cohen, Jay Schwartz, Freddy Roman, Joey Adams and so many more.  Since most were told in a Yiddish dialect, Lavner felt he needed an alter ego   to pull off his routines, and that’s how the Deli Lama character was born!
